Paula Paula PaulaPaula Patton is an actress and producer well known for her role as the lead in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the film drama Precious. In her early years her mother raised her in her parents' Los Angeles middle-class household. The mother of her children was fond of watching movies and instilled a love for films in the young girl as well. Paula took part in the co-curricular program at school, and was a drama enthusiast. She was a stage actress who enjoyed performing in shows with her classmates. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School gave her many opportunities to be an actor in high school and she chose acting to pursue a career. She enrolled at The University of Southern California in an summer camp and enjoyed her stint. She was given a three month contract to produce documentary for PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment successfully then she began working as a support assistant in television documentary production. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. Though she loved her job and her work, she wanted to be an actor. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a minor character alongside Will Smith. She has since appeared in several popular films as well as TV programs.
