Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert, is featured on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. Her TV show, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK premiered on March 30, 2012. The show also has her as on camera meteorologist, and co-executive director. The debut novel by Bonnie, EXTREME WEEKEND was published by Palgrave Macmillan in January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. While in Boston Schneider also contributed entertainment and lifestyle reporting as the special assignment reporter on a daily basis. Before joining WB56, she was the weekend meteorologist for WFOR-TV located in Miami. She held various reporting and meteorology positions within News 12 Long Island - a 24-hour news cable network along with WXII TV - an NBC affiliate station in Winston-Salem. The other position she worked in was an occasional fill-in at The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
